2009 subsidiary results

Amsterdam, 18 February 2010 – Vimetco, the largest aluminium producer in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces that its Romanian subsidiary, Alro, released its preliminary financial results to the Bucharest stock exchange. Alro (BSE: ALR) reported a preliminary net profit for 2009 of RON 93.6 million (approx USD 30.7 million), and a turnover of RON 1.41 billion (USD 462.5 million).1. Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co., Ltd., Vimetco’s Chinese subsidiary, also released its 2009 results to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, reporting a net profit attributable to parent company in 2009 of
RMB 310,399,560.34. Henan Zhongfu Industrial Co., Ltd. intends to take the total share capital of 657,255,594 shares from 31st December 2009 as basis, to distribute 3 bonus shares and RMB 0.6 in cash to all shareholders for every 10 share held (tax included).
