Official Statement to Alro Shareholders

Slatina, 29 May, 2012 – SC Alro S.A. (BVB: ALR) shareholders approved, by decision no. 464/27.04.2012 of the Ordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders, the payment of the dividends for the financial year 2011. Considering this decision has been published in the Romanian Official Gazette - part IV, no. 1928 / 23.05.2012, the payment of the dividends for the financial year 2011 shall be performed within 60 days after publication, by July 22th, 2012 respectively, by money order or by transfer into a bank account.

Shareholders in SC Alro S.A. (BVB: ALR) who wish to have their dividends for the year 2011 transferred into a bank account, are asked to send their written requests by June 15^th, 2012.

The written request should comprise the shareholder’s identification data, the IBAN coordinates of the account, the bank and the subsidiary where it is opened.
